Jan

Dr Jan Healey is an occupational therapist and human factors ergonomics specialist with over 20 years experience acquired predominantly in adult social care, including working as an occupational therapy manager for a private OT company managing local authority contracts and specialist manual handling projects. Jan is also an academic and researcher gaining a PhD at Loughborough University in 2022. Since completing her PhD Jan achieved academic publication both from her PhD and as co-author on the NIHR funded DACHA DOM project. She also supported the healthcare and patient teaching faculty at Loughborough University with the delivery of the NHSE patient safety syllabus. Jan also has a wealth of housing experience and she was one of the OT’s who worked on the Housing Project commissioned by Newham Council to identify the housing design needs of families and residents who are neurodivergent and residents with a learning disability
