Jasper

Jasper qualified in 2008 and specialised in the field of functional rehabilitation.  He has worked with adults who have experienced varying periods of hospitalisation and changes in physical/psychological health and has developed expertise while working within several local authorities and in independent practice with case managers.

Jasper expanded his interest in the interaction of the human body and its environment and gained an MSc qualification in Ergonomics and Human Factors.  In addition, knowledge and experiences gained through further studies in management, training, coaching and mentoring have also continued to enrich Jasper’s ongoing clinical practice.

Jasper uses evidence based and client centred principles to assess, plan, implement interventions for complex moving and handling assessments and single-handed care approaches, package of care reviews, equipment provision, major and minor adaptations, and application of pain and fatigue strategies.

Over the course of his career Jasper has developed a comprehensive understanding of the complexities of loss of physical and psychological function and the impact that this can have on an individual’s life.
