Joseph

A qualified and HCPC registered occupational therapist with a background of working for the NHS, local authorities and in private practice coaching adults with low level anxiety.

Joseph has experience of working with adults and their families with a range of life-changing conditions such as MS, stroke, Huntington’s Disease and dementia. Specialist assessments which he undertakes includes moving and handling, including single-handed care, along with housing suitability and needs.  Joseph has a worked jointly with a paramedic service to provide occupationally-focused support in identifying solutions for clients who have fallen, and provided interventions around falls prevention.  Joseph provides robust assessments for all aspects of a client’s daily function and devises person-specific rehabilitation plans.

Joseph has also previously worked within a community neuro/stroke rehabilitation team where he developed his knowledge in completing cognitive assessment, upper limb assessment and vocational rehabilitation.
