Julie

Julie qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 1992 and have specialised in two main areas. Firstly, in the field of neurology for adults and the elderly (including traumatic spinal and brain injury, stroke and progressive neurological conditions). Secondly, in the field of paediatrics, (including neuro -developmental conditions, developmental delays, neurological conditions, handwriting and access to the school curriculum, and complex learning and physical disabilities).

Her experience in paediatrics is across the breadth of the speciality, neurodevelopmental, developmental coordination disorder, dysgraphia, sensory difficulties, autistic spectrum disorder and complex physical and learning disabilities.

She has developed her skills and clinical reasoning through continued personal research, supervision, mentoring and specialist post graduate training courses and module. Her approach to assessing and treating clients has been shaped through this training, experience and the ultimate desire help clients achieve their potential in all aspects of their life.
