Kerry
Kerry is a highly specialist occupational therapist with over 24 years’ experience working with adults and children with complex needs. She has a skilled background in assessment, report writing, goal planning and interventions to optimise clients’ independence in their homes, education settings and workplaces. With experience of working in both public and private health settings, in the UK and abroad, Kerry has a reputation for developing enduring relationships with her clients, their families, and the professional team around them.
During her career, Kerry has developed a strong and detailed knowledge of specialist equipment, as well as adaptations for disabled access. As an occupational therapist she looks closely at function, assessing carefully what the client and their family need to be able to do within their space.
Kerry is passionate about housing adaptations and design to create a home for her clients that reflects not only their needs but their lifestyles. At the centre of her work ethos is the belief that if a house is designed properly, it can overcome many of the disadvantages that her clients are experiencing. Kerry works across multiple agencies to find the right solutions for each of her clients.
In addition to her work as an independent housing occupational therapist, Kerry also works as a case manager and expert witness.
