Lauren
Lauren graduated from The University of Essex in 2017 with an MSc in Occupational Therapy and from The University of Reading in 2013 with a BSc in Psychology. Since graduating, Lauren has worked in a variety of clinical settings such as, paediatrics, community mental health teams (children, family and young person services and adults), inpatient CAMHS services, and adult social care. Lauren also works within private practice and has worked with case managers and clients who have experienced complex medical diagnoses, including polytrauma and psychological problems resulting from road traffic accidents.
Lauren is also very experienced in paediatrics, she has worked with children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities such as, ASD, ADHD, communication challenges, motor-based difficulties (fine and gross motor), learning difficulties, and sensory processing challenges. Lauren has worked across various school settings (mainstream and Special Educational Needs schools), specialist resource bases, independent and non-maintained schools, colleges and further education, and alternative provisions) delivering assessment and interventions on a 1:1 basis and within small groups.
