Lauren

Lauren is a highly skilled and knowledgeable occupational therapist with experience in vast areas of the profession including spinal cord injury rehabilitation, acquired brain injury and complex orthopaedic injuries including amputations.  Lauren is able to prescribe occupation focussed neuro rehab for clients living at home and works closely with family and carers to involve them in education to support rehabilitation at home.

Lauren has comprehensive knowledge in human anatomy and physiology and is able to specify wheelchairs and seating to support optimal engagement in occupation, prevention of postural deterioration and to prevent the development of pressure damage. In addition, Lauren has experience of comprehensive home assessments and prescribes modifications, equipment and community support. She is proficient at working alongside case managers to ensure that clients achieve their therapy goals safely and efficiently.
