
Lucy
Lucy is an imaginative and adaptable occupational therapist with a background of working
in community settings with adults of working age and older people with complex needs
including physical disabilities, neurological conditions, frailty, dementia, learning disabilities, neurodivergence and mental health issues.
Lucy uses a holistic, strengths-based approach to assessment with clients to help identify occupational deficits and enable them to devise achievable goals to participate in meaningful activities through pathways such as rehabilitation, compensatory strategies, lifestyle advice, anxiety management, environmental assessment and recommendation for standard or bespoke equipment provision.
Lucy is proficient in assessing posture management needs including specialist seating and sleep systems and has comprehensive knowledge to provide housing advice and recommendations for major and minor adaptations work and has a special interest in telecare and assistive technologies and how these can empower and maintain dignity.
