Nikki qualified as an occupational therapist in 2010, she went onto completed her Masters (MSc Advanced Occupational therapy) degree in 2011. Nikki is a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists and their specialist section of neurological practice.

Over the years, she has further developed her clinical knowledge through practical experience, personal research, trainings, CPD events and post graduate training modules. This has helped her to develop a high-level of clinical reasoning for rehabilitation, disability management and equipment prescriptions, as necessary when assessing and treating patients with highly complex needs and when providing expert opinion and liaising with other professionals, clients and family members.

Nikki is currently working with adults who have neurological diagnosis such as sustained acquired brain injury (stroke and TBI), spinal injuries, progressive neurological conditions. She has developed her expertise while working within the NHS in some of the highly specialist settings Haematology/Oncology, Stem cell Transplant MD rehab, cardiology and frailty, as well as general and surgery including vascular, orthopaedics and colorectal surgery.
