Rachel

Rachel is a skilled senior occupational therapist with over 25 years’ experience, working mainly within the housing sector. However, her clinical competence and experience are in: Orthopaedics, musculoskeletal, dementia, neurology, amputation, rheumatology, plus sized people, falls, acquired brain injury, genetic and congenital conditions, spinal cord injury and palliative care.

As an independent practitioner, Rachel can manage her own caseload and works autonomously and alongside case managers to support people to live independent and fulfilling lives and is a key clinician in any multi-disciplinary team.

Rachel is highly experienced in moving and handling assessments, complex and specialist equipment provision, seating assessments, and can utilise the Disabled Facilities Grant to support changes to accommodation.
