Whitney

Whitney qualified in 2014 and is a highly motivated therapist who is passionate about gaining the best possible outcomes for her clients. She has experience in both mental health and physical health rehabilitative settings. Whitney currently works both in private practice and as a specialist occupational therapist for her local NHS Foundation Trust, working with clients in their own homes. She has responsibility for managing complex cases which include conditions such as, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, stroke, trauma, dementia, and palliative care.

Whitney is motivated by the complexity of her cases and thrives from “thinking outside of the box”. She enjoys working closely with individuals and their families/carers to build therapeutic relationships and achieve the best possible outcomes. Whitney has used outcome measures in her work and understands the importance of this in supporting her clients towards achieving their goals. Whitney prides herself on her high standard of written reports and communication with clients and other professionals.
