Date: 22 April 2026. Time: 12:30 – 13:30
Speakers and Expert Panel:

- Deborah Harrison, Health Integration Partners
- Rachel Jones, Manchester Council
As a respected independent practice, The Occupational Therapy Service (TOTS) collaborates with local authorities, healthcare teams, case managers and industry partners to raise OT standards, improve systems, and deliver person-led change. It currently works alongside Health Integration Partners to enhance this remit and is delighted to be supporting its latest education session focused on proportionate care.
Aimed at local authority decision makers, this webinar explores Optimal-Handed Care / Proportionate Care and how TOTS has supported local authorities and ICBs through strategic and operational support. It has reviewed thousands of domiciliary care packages which have resulted in millions of pounds worth of savings, whilst putting tens of thousands of hours’ worth of care back into the system. The webinar will provide an opportunity for attendees to learn from the challenges experienced by the three experts on the panel and how solutions were systematically achieved. Adam Ferry commented:
View all News articles“The work we’ve completed across health and social care has not only saved money and put care back into the system, but has increased the quality of care being received, which as therapists is always our primary goal. Reflecting on our experiences will help authorities to learn from the challenges, as well as see what can be achieved if implemented properly through a High Impact Change Model.”
