Lucy graduated in 2001 from Brunel University and in 2009 completed a Postgraduate Diploma at Salford University in Accessibility and Inclusive Design.

Lucy is a highly experienced consultant specialising in inclusive design and housing adaptations.  She works with children and adults, predominantly those with physical disabilities, along with the design of specialist environments for those with cognitive and sensory impairments.  She is adept at working in varied settings including schools, businesses, individual homes and leisure facilities. Lucy is a contributing author on adaptations to the Muscular Dystrophy Adaptations Manual (Second Edition) and the Disabled Living Foundation website. Throughout her many years of practice she has developed an in-depth understanding of the relationship between social care, health and housing and its impact on an inclusive, accessible society.

Lucy is a member of the British Association of Occupational Therapists, and is registered with the Health Care Professions Council. She is also a member of the College of Occupational Therapists Specialist sections of Independent Practice and Housing.
